Research and publication integrity
QCAIJ expects authors, reviewers, editors, and administrators to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and reproducibility of scholarly communication.
Authorship
Authors must meet accepted authorship standards and disclose meaningful contributions.
Originality
Submissions should be original and must appropriately acknowledge prior work.
Conflicts of interest
Relevant financial, professional, personal, and institutional conflicts should be disclosed.
Research integrity
Fabricated, falsified, manipulated, or misleading evidence is not acceptable.
AI use
Material use of generative AI should be disclosed where required by the the journal’s current author policy; authors remain accountable for the submission.
Privacy & confidentiality
Manuscripts and peer-review materials must be handled as confidential scholarly records.
Corrections
Material errors discovered after publication should be corrected transparently; serious integrity concerns may require withdrawal or retraction procedures.
Human and ecological impact
Where relevant, authors should discuss foreseeable risks, harms, affected communities, environmental impacts, and limitations.
